About the role
We are seeking a registered electrician to join our Tauranga campus as an Electrical Tutor. This stable, people‑focused position allows you to share your industry knowledge, mentor apprentices, and help shape the next generation of electricians.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver practical, industry‑relevant electrical training across apprentice block courses and specialised programmes.
- Facilitate learning in both classroom and workshop settings, coaching learners through technical concepts.
- Assess apprentice progress, provide feedback, and support confidence building.
- Maintain a safe, organised training environment and contribute to continuous improvement of programme delivery.
Required profile
- NZ Electrical Registration (registered electrician).
- Strong practical experience in the electrical industry.
- Genuine interest in supporting apprentices and adult learners.
- Good communication, coaching, and organisational abilities.
- Team‑focused mindset with a commitment to health and safety.
Required skills
- Proficiency with basic digital tools such as Microsoft Office.
