Court Registry Support Officer – Permanent Full‑Time

About the role

The Court Registry Support Officer provides essential administrative and customer‑service support to the Auckland court system. Working closely with Judges, Court Registry Officers and the public, you will help ensure smooth daily operations and timely case handling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous service to lawyers, judges, and members of the public via phone, face‑to‑face, and email.
• Assist Court Registry Officers with courtroom and office tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and managing case files.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, monitor the email inbox, and route communications appropriately.
• Enter data accurately and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Prepare and deliver court files to judges within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities, flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Motivation to learn and take on new challenges.
• Current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
