Contract Travel Adviser – NZ & Australia Holidays

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Contract Travel Adviser to design and sell bespoke multi‑day holidays across New Zealand and Australia. Working from home, you will guide clients from the first enquiry through to a fully booked itinerary, ensuring a seamless and personalised travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients via email, phone and video call to understand their interests, budget and travel style.
• Create customised itineraries including accommodation, transport, private tours, scenic routes, domestic flights and local activities.
• Provide in‑country support to travellers, offering information and assistance throughout their journey.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, meeting sales targets.
• Collaborate with the internal team to continuously improve product offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel sales, itinerary planning or tailor‑made holiday design.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to work independently from home.
• Interest in New Zealand and Australia travel; willingness to learn and ask questions.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use standard office software for itinerary creation and client correspondence.
