About the role
We are looking for a Cloud Business Development Manager to drive new cloud opportunities across Auckland and the wider ANZ region. You will engage senior technology leaders, understand their cloud challenges and connect them to Parallo’s managed services, migration, FinOps and innovation solutions. This is a hunter role where you will own the full sales cycle with support from cloud architects and delivery experts.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline of SaaS/ISV and enterprise accounts.
- Leverage partnerships with AWS, Microsoft and Datadog for co‑selling and lead generation.
- Own end‑to‑end B2B sales: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation and closing.
- Engage CTOs, CIOs and senior technical decision‑makers to develop outcome‑focused business cases.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales and delivery teams to design tailored cloud solutions.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts in HubSpot CRM.
Required profile
- 3+ years of B2B tech or cloud sales experience with a proven record of new‑business success.
- Strong understanding of AWS and/or Azure and their business impact.
- Experience engaging senior technical stakeholders and building business cases.
- Existing network within the ANZ SaaS/ISV or enterprise technology ecosystem is a plus.
