Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Executive Leadership

About the role

Ormiston Hospital is seeking a commercially astute operational leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will drive the operational, commercial, and financial performance of the hospital’s corporate services, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and financial reporting.
• Oversee supply chain, procurement, and facilities management.
• Conduct commercial analysis, manage contracts and funder relationships.
• Support governance, Board reporting and shareholder activities.
• Drive revenue optimisation, cost management and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with the CEO and ELT to shape growth, sustainability and service expansion.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualified accountant with senior financial leadership experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven operational leadership.
• Experience in healthcare, private hospitals or complex service‑based environments.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams and leading organisational transformation.
