About the role

Kiwibank is looking for a Business Join Consultant to help small‑business customers join the bank smoothly. You will work in a supportive, inclusive team across several New Zealand cities, delivering exceptional customer experiences while building your expertise in business banking.

Key responsibilities

• Create seamless onboarding experiences for small‑business clients.
• Conduct consultative conversations to uncover needs and build trust.
• Provide tailored solutions that align with customer goals.
• Collaborate with teammates to strengthen the Kiwibank brand.
• Accurately use systems and processes to support each interaction.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
• Empathetic communication and strong listening skills.
• Calm, solution‑oriented approach in a dynamic environment.
• Alignment with Kiwibank’s purpose and values.

Required skills

• Experience delivering customer‑focused solutions.
• Understanding of general business principles and the small‑business environment.
