About the role

Morrison is seeking an exceptional Office Manager / Senior Administrative Assistant to lead operations in our Wellington office, supporting senior leaders and fostering a high‑performance workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Wellington office, ensuring a professional, safe and well‑functioning workplace.
- Manage office budgets, suppliers, procurement, maintenance, repairs, access control and workspace planning.
- Lead, coach and support the Business Support team, driving high‑quality outcomes and a collaborative culture.
- Provide proactive executive support to senior leaders, including diary management, meeting coordination and complex travel arrangements.
- Prepare and manage documents, agendas, board papers and presentations with high accuracy and professionalism.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, office‑wide initiatives and staff engagement activities in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate office records and compliance documentation, while supporting operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in office management and supporting C‑suite or senior leaders.
- Demonstrated people‑leadership experience with the ability to guide, coach and develop a team.
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, able to juggle competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
- Flexible, reliable and proactive approach with a commitment to delivering excellence.
