About the role
Oceania is looking for a warm, organised and customer‑focused individual to join the Waterford Village team in Hobsonville. This full‑time position splits 25 hours of village coordination with 15 hours of reception duties, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience supporting residents and the village operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face for residents, visitors, contractors and families, delivering friendly and professional service.
- Provide administrative support to the Village Manager and team, including accounts payable, petty cash, supplier coordination and general office tasks.
- Manage enquiries, resolve issues promptly and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of village services, policies and emergency procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, coordinating activities, events and lifestyle programmes that promote wellbeing and community engagement.
- Organise group outings, workshops, social events and community initiatives, and facilitate resident use of technology such as the resident app and virtual events.
- Gather resident feedback through focus groups and other engagement methods, building strong relationships with families, external providers and community organisations.
Required profile
- Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service, hospitality or community‑focused roles.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences.
- Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem‑solving capabilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
