Associate Account Manager

About the role

Arista Networks is looking for an Associate Account Manager to generate new business opportunities for its software‑driven data‑center, campus switching, cloud‑based wireless Wi‑Fi, and network automation solutions in New Zealand. You will work closely with Major Account Managers and senior field staff to expand Arista’s footprint across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lead‑generation calls with key customer influencers and present Arista’s value proposition.
• Schedule and qualify new meetings for Major Account Managers.
• Promote Arista’s data‑center and campus switching platforms, cloud‑based Wi‑Fi, DANZ Fabric Monitoring, and Zero Trust security products.
• Assist in planning and coordinating quarterly field marketing and sales events, tracking attendance metrics.
• Provide sales‑operations support, including quote preparation, order submission, and billing issue resolution.
• Participate in sales training and shadow senior account managers to prepare for a Field Territory Account Manager role.
• Stay up‑to‑date on partner solutions, competing technologies, and market strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA/CS) or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of technology sales experience (inside sales, business development, marketing, or sales operations).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Passion for technology and a desire to grow a career in tech sales.
