Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end planning and supply functions for a leading New Zealand FMCG business operating across ANZ and international markets. The role owns demand and supply planning, supplier management and commercial contracting, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of four across purchasing, supply chain and planning.
• Own the monthly Demand and Supply Review process, delivering insights and recommendations.
• Develop unconstrained demand forecasts for all brands, channels and markets, integrating promotions, new product pipelines and customer intelligence.
• Manage replenishment strategies for finished goods, including domestic manufacture, co‑manufacture and imports.
• Set inventory policy, monitor aged and slow‑moving stock, service levels and working‑capital exposure.
• Build and manage senior supplier relationships and negotiate supply agreements.
• Drive optimisation of planning systems, ERP, forecasting tools and reporting platforms, implementing KPIs and dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand and supply planning within FMCG or consumer goods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary planning teams through change or growth.
• Strong commercial judgement and clear communication across all business levels.
