Snowflake Architect – $200k‑$220k + Super (Hybrid, Auckland)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Snowflake Architect to join a global consultancy serving the financial services sector. The role is hybrid, with 2‑3 days per week on‑site in Auckland, and focuses on designing end‑to‑end Snowflake solutions for multi‑million‑dollar projects.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms that integrate with existing cloud ecosystems.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Lead technical workshops and provide clear explanations of Snowflake concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, ETL processes, and orchestration tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote innovative approaches to data architecture.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Snowflake solutions in complex, enterprise‑level environments.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to clients.
