Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will coordinate multiple civil infrastructure projects across the North Island, working closely with clients and stakeholders to keep key milestones on schedule. This role is ideal for a technically strong, organised professional ready to advance their engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Own project coordination and management across several active sites.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver milestones on time.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Contribute to earthworks, drainage, precast and in‑situ concrete works.
• Lead by example to foster a strong site culture and performance.
• Travel to project sites across the North Island as required.

Required profile

• Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least three years of NZ experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience with earthworks, drainage, precast and in‑situ concrete.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Self‑starter capable of independent problem‑solving under pressure.
• NZ citizen or resident visa holder.
