Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

McCann NZ is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Social Media Manager to join its fast‑paced Group Social Team. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of always‑on social and campaign work for multiple brands, driving engagement across the latest platforms and trends.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for Group Social accounts and liaison for the Account Management team.
• Lead social strategy, planning, execution and reporting for always‑on clients and allocated campaigns.
• Dispatch social content and creative assets to media agencies, clients and stakeholders.
• Identify emerging content trends, create reactive organic pieces and manage paid social initiatives.
• Produce end‑of‑campaign performance reports for internal teams and clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor, championing best‑in‑class social work both internally and externally.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a social or digital environment.
• Proven success managing social channels and developing strategies that meet business objectives.
• Strong project‑management and organisational skills, able to juggle multiple complex campaigns.
• Comfortable working under pressure and delivering high‑quality work on tight deadlines.
