Senior SAP ABAP Developer (RAP & BTP) – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a 9‑month contract in Auckland. The role focuses on modern SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, SAP CRM and SAP Business Technology Platform, within an Agile delivery framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design initiatives and mentor the development team.
• Build and maintain extensions using the ABAP Cloud development model and RAP.
• Manage complex SAP integrations such as IDocs, BAPIs and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Drive code quality through TDD, performance tuning and SAP best practices.
• Develop and optimise SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 experiences and OData services.

Required profile

• Extensive ABAP experience (including ABAP OO) across SAP CRM and S/4HANA.
• Hands‑on experience with RAP, SAP BTP extensions and the ABAP Cloud development model.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA development, AMDP and SQLScript.
• Understanding of core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM or SD.
• Comfortable delivering high‑quality code in fast‑paced Agile environments.
