Senior Quality Engineer – SaaS & AI Testing

About the role

Everbridge is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the reliability and customer value of its modern SaaS products, including AI‑assisted and agentic workflows. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and UX teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute manual testing activities during the agile development process, validating new features and complex user journeys.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria, test strategies and edge cases early in the cycle.
• Build and maintain automated tests for API and UI layers using frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium or Playwright.
• Support and evolve test environments, frameworks and tooling to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Leverage AI‑assisted engineering tools, coding agents and test‑generation techniques to accelerate test creation and feedback loops.
• Critically review AI‑generated test artifacts to ensure they cover business outcomes, system behavior and failure modes.
• Monitor test results, raise risks and champion continuous improvement in quality practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience testing enterprise‑grade, scalable and distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience working in cross‑functional agile teams.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development or test automation tools is a plus.
