Senior Manager – Strategic Products & Projects

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead strategic business development, oversee new product launches and drive key projects across the APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations and Strategic Projects, you will shape product positioning and ensure successful market adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage annual strategic projects, initially focusing on Alcon PCIOLs and Unity portfolio, including portfolio optimization and country execution.
• Act as the regional single point of contact for new product launch planning, timelines and cross‑functional coordination.
• Collaborate with country marketing teams and the International Marketing Group to align launch tactics and commercial execution.
• Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive portfolio positioning, rationalization and market‑specific launch strategies in partnership with regional and country stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in medical device, medical technology or ophthalmology, with specific exposure to PCIOLs or cataract equipment.
• Proven track record in marketing or strategic commercial leadership across multiple geographies.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting and regulatory knowledge for the APAC medical‑device landscape.
