Senior EC&I Engineer

About the role

Orano Limited is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join its Warrington team on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive electrical and control‑instrumentation designs throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept through to manufacturing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Produce EC&I design documents and drawings in line with project standards and procedures.
• Deliver design project deliverables covering concept, detailed design, manufacture and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate, plan and ensure timely delivery of designs while maintaining compliance with required standards.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines and maintain alignment with project requirements.

Required profile

• HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional engineering or technical specialist experience.
• Experience working on nuclear sites or other highly regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain UK work permission and undergo security vetting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Strong AutoCAD design skills.
• Familiarity with BIM‑enabled projects.
• Hands‑on experience in EC&I design documentation.
