Senior Consultant – Digital Transformation

About the role

Deloitte’s award‑winning Technology and Transformation consulting practice is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its Systems Delivery and Modernisation team in Auckland. You will work on complex digital transformation initiatives for high‑profile clients across New Zealand, translating business objectives into actionable solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital transformation projects, coordinating cross‑functional and multinational teams.
• Serve as primary interface between business and technical teams to ensure alignment of requirements, priorities and milestones.
• Drive change‑management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication and user adoption for new IT platforms.
• Facilitate workshops, gather and translate business requirements, and support solution design and process optimisation.
• Define project roadmaps, governance structures and key performance indicators to monitor progress and support executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• 6+ years of Big‑4 consulting experience (e.g., Deloitte, PwC) with proven delivery across multiple engagements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering end‑to‑end digital and business transformation programmes.
• Strong business analysis expertise, including eliciting requirements and creating functional specifications or user stories.
