Secondary Mathematics Teacher – Tauranga

About the role

OneSchool Global NZ is seeking a passionate secondary mathematics teacher to join its Tauranga campus. You will work in a collaborative, well‑resourced environment, delivering the New Zealand Curriculum to motivated students across Years 9‑13 while benefiting from strong support from colleagues, families, and dedicated professional development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction in line with the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA standards.
• Support and coach students academically and pastorally, providing regular progress reports.
• Analyse student data with the Campus Principal and Head of Department to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a modern learning culture.

Required profile

• Current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Valid New Zealand Teacher Registration.
• Experience teaching mathematics in a New Zealand secondary school.
• In‑depth knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA mathematics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering secondary‑level mathematics content.
• Ability to use digital learning platforms and classroom technology.
