SAP Release & Change Management Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Release & Change Management Lead to drive end‑to‑end governance and execution across complex S/4HANA landscapes. You will act as the central authority for SAP change and release management, ensuring seamless, compliant deployments in hybrid on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP release and change management for S/4HANA landscapes, adhering to approved release strategies and governance models.
• Own the full change lifecycle in SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), from design to continuous optimization of change documents, approval workflows, transport management and release cycles.
• Architect and implement enterprise‑grade SAP release frameworks aligned with agile/hybrid delivery models.
• Coordinate across functional, technical, business and infrastructure stakeholders as the central SAP Change & Release authority.
• Manage transport across complex landscapes in partnership with SAP Basis teams, aligning releases with system refreshes, upgrades, patches and hot‑fixes.
• Govern cross‑system and cloud‑integrated deployment pipelines (SAP BTP, Azure CI/CD), ensuring correct sequencing and traceability.
• Design and integrate SAP Cloud ALM as the central governance platform for requirements, release tracking and deployment governance.
• Establish Azure DevOps and SAP Cloud ALM integration for end‑to‑end project and release orchestration.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on release readiness and deployment performance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in SAP Change & Release Management (ChaRM) within S/4HANA environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex transport landscapes and release cycles.
• Experience working across hybrid SAP (on‑premise + cloud) architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
