Retail Sales Assistant – Footwear

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Assistant to join our Skechers store in Dunedin. You will support the Management team in driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Management team in achieving sales targets and maintaining high store performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create an unforgettable shopping experience.
• Maintain store presentation, stock levels, and visual merchandising standards.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with team members to continuously improve operations.

Required profile

• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, energetic team environment.
• Self‑motivated with a strong drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Full availability for late‑night trade, weekends, and Monday‑Wednesday day shifts.
• Previous experience in customer‑facing roles such as retail, hospitality or supermarket.
