About the role

Join Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand as a Retail Assistant – Merchandise and help create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers. You will support daily store operations, maintain high standards of presentation, and contribute to a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, personalised customer service and resolve inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Maintain store presentation by keeping shelves clean, organised, and stocked with fresh merchandise.
• Set up promotional displays and signage, ensuring accuracy and alignment with campaign guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team (“Swarm”) to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve store objectives.
• Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
