About the role

Join Oceania as a Registered Nurse at The Oaks, where you will practice at full scope within a nurse‑led service. You will deliver comprehensive care, coordinate daily resident needs, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care needs of residents while inspiring and supporting the care team.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions independently and collaboratively.
• Make critical decisions regarding resident care, demonstrating autonomy.
• Develop and maintain connections with residents, families, and community health professionals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to care staff and team members.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Previous experience using clinical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
• Ability to coach and mentor other staff.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts (Wednesday to Sunday, afternoon to evening).

• InterRai (desirable, not essential).
