Recruitment Portfolio Lead

About the role

The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Recruitment Portfolio Lead to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a dedicated portfolio across New Zealand. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, assess and hire talent while ensuring compliance with safeguarding, vetting, immigration and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for the assigned portfolio, from job posting to offer acceptance.
• Provide expert advice and support to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate employment documentation, onboarding and compliance activities such as police vetting and Ministry of Justice checks.
• Support talent attraction initiatives and enhance employer branding.
• Guide the use of recruitment systems and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑volume, end‑to‑end recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment compliance and screening processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities independently.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Permanent full‑time role (37.5 hrs/week) with a salary range of $70,000–$75,000 NZD per annum.
