About the role
The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Recruitment Portfolio Lead to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a dedicated portfolio across New Zealand. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, assess and hire talent while ensuring compliance with safeguarding, vetting, immigration and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for the assigned portfolio, from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Provide expert advice and support to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate employment documentation, onboarding and compliance activities such as police vetting and Ministry of Justice checks.
- Support talent attraction initiatives and enhance employer branding.
- Guide the use of recruitment systems and promote best practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing high‑volume, end‑to‑end recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment compliance and screening processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities independently.
- Continuous improvement mindset.

What we offer
- Permanent full‑time role (37.5 hrs/week) with a salary range of $70,000–$75,000 NZD per annum.
