Public Area Cleaner

About the role

Sudima Hotels is seeking a Public Area Cleaner for its Queenstown Five Mile property. This full‑time permanent position offers a steady schedule of at least 30 hours per week, working in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Perform hygienic cleaning tasks according to hotel standards and schedules.
• Identify and report any health‑and‑safety concerns, maintenance or technical issues in the work area.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure timely service and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Adhere to roster flexibility, working across all seven days as required.

Required profile

• Team‑player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to handle active cleaning duties.
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand and ability to pass police and reference checks.
• Willingness to embrace company values and participate in a diverse, inclusive workplace.
