About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to lead multiple civil construction projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule are met while exceeding client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of civil construction projects, from tendering to completion.
- Manage financial and commercial aspects, including variation pricing and monthly claims.
- Administer contracts with focus on financial programming.
- Maintain strong client, subcontractor and team relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with team members across all levels to deliver high‑quality results.
Required profile
- Proven experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
- New Zealand residency.
