Project Manager – Civil Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to lead multiple civil construction projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule are met while exceeding client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of civil construction projects, from tendering to completion.
• Manage financial and commercial aspects, including variation pricing and monthly claims.
• Administer contracts with focus on financial programming.
• Maintain strong client, subcontractor and team relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with team members across all levels to deliver high‑quality results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
• New Zealand residency.
