About the role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the Ministry’s digital and data products and services. In this position you will help plan, track and deliver medium‑to‑large initiatives while working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners and business teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage planning, tracking and delivery of work across initiatives.
- Support the Project Manager in strengthening delivery practices and governance.
- Facilitate information flow, identify and remove blockers, and keep milestones on schedule.
- Assist with project reporting, financial coordination and delivery administration.
Required profile
- Comfortable working in complex, government‑focused environments.
- Experience supporting delivery in project, programme or product settings.
- Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Calm and adaptable under pressure, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Required skills
- PRINCE2 (desirable)

- Salary range $74,815 – $90,347 per annum plus KiwiSaver.
