Project Controls Manager – Civil Engineering (Auckland/Christchurch/Tauranga)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Project Controls Managers to join a leading New Zealand civil engineering and infrastructure construction company. The positions are permanent and based in Auckland, Christchurch, or Tauranga, offering the chance to relocate and build a long‑term career in a country renowned for its lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting frameworks.
• Support cost control, forecasting, earned value reporting and productivity analysis.
• Assist with estimating, change management, scope analysis and trend reporting.
• Contribute to risk management, delay analysis and claims support.
• Support procurement processes, subcontractor administration and monthly certification.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in project controls for civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience on medium to large‑scale projects.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and delivering results.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced construction software – CCS/RIB Candy (preferred).
