About the role

This design‑driven architect position offers a leading role within a growing Christchurch‑based studio. You will shape projects from early concept through construction, enjoying a high degree of autonomy and real influence over design outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients and lead design thinking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, ensuring design quality and clarity.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a positive, design‑focused studio culture.
• Coordinate consultants and manage client relationships.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD.
• Solid experience working within the New Zealand architectural environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design capability, conceptual clarity, and well‑resolved built work.
• Confidence leading projects from concept through to delivery.
• Collaborative mindset with an interest in mentoring and design leadership.
