Part-time Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time Cleaner to keep our dental practice on Blenheim Road tidy and compliant with CQC standards. The role involves daily cleaning of public areas, surgery rooms, and communal spaces during evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Sanitise and tidy public areas, surgeries and office spaces each day.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop floors in all designated zones.
• Dust surfaces, countertops, light fittings and internal windows.
• Maintain kitchen and communal areas, including washing up and waste disposal.
• Clean and restock restroom facilities.
• Empty bins and ensure proper waste segregation.
• Sweep and keep the practice frontage clear of litter.
• Report low stock of cleaning products and any repair needs to the line manager.
• Follow the practice cleaning checklist, COSHH and HACCP guidelines, and relevant risk assessments.
• Carry out any additional reasonable cleaning tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Availability to work evenings, Monday to Friday as per the schedule.
• Ability to follow written cleaning procedures and health‑safety regulations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment.

Required skills

• Operating vacuum cleaners and floor‑mopping equipment.
• Use of cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards for infection control.
