Part-Time Candidate Manager – Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Candidate Manager to join Augment Resources, a specialist consultancy in procurement, supply chain and strategy recruitment. The role focuses on building strong candidate relationships, supporting senior consultants throughout the recruitment lifecycle and ensuring a high‑quality experience for talent across New Zealand and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Source and map candidates for procurement, supply chain and strategy roles in NZ and overseas.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines, conduct screening calls and interviews.
• Write candidate profiles, summaries and interview notes.
• Manage recruitment databases, CRM systems and candidate communications.
• Support search assignments, advertising campaigns and outreach activities.
• Coordinate reference checks, scheduling and overall recruitment logistics.
• Contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes and market engagement.

Required profile

• Background in recruitment, talent acquisition, consulting support or coordination.
• Excellent communication, high attention to detail and strong written ability.
• Professional judgement, discretion and ability to work independently.
• Curiosity about business and commercial environments.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Experience with LinkedIn for candidate sourcing.
• Familiarity with CRM or recruitment database systems.
• Ability to manage candidate communications and documentation.
