Logistics Manager - Fulfilment

About the role

Christchurch‑based Silver Fern Farms is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a key fulfilment portfolio and shape the future of logistics across the business. The role sits within the Order Fulfilment Lead Team and is responsible for delivering customer commitments efficiently and on time while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fulfilment operations across the portfolio to meet service, cost, inventory and performance targets.
• Build strong partnerships with Operations, Planning, Commercial, Customer Services and external logistics providers.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, visibility and service performance.
• Manage key logistics partners to ensure performance, compliance and value delivery.

Required profile

• Collaborative, commercially minded logistics professional comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, warehousing or fulfilment operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across multiple functions.
• Experience leading operational improvement and change initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Logistics systems such as CargoWise.
• Logistics systems such as M2X.
