Lift Service Technician – Wellington

About the role

Join Schindler’s Installation and Maintenance team in Wellington as a Lift Service Technician. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of elevators, escalators and moving walks while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and inspections on lifts, escalators and moving walks across the Wellington region.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities, promoting Schindler Service and Repairs.
• Provide technical support and training to the regional team, driving safety and quality initiatives.
• Support the Sales department with site surveys and customer visits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Lift Service or Repair Technician, or a relevant NZQF Level 4 trade certificate/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical.
• EWRB Electrical Service Technician registration (or limited/provisional licence).
• Full, clean NZ driver’s licence.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly and communicate effectively.
