Junior Brand Manager

About the role

Join NZME’s publishing division as a Junior Brand Manager, supporting the development and execution of integrated brand and marketing activities across our portfolio of New Zealand media brands. You will work closely with content, creative, and commercial teams to deliver campaigns that engage audiences and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering above‑ and below‑the‑line campaigns.
• Write clear creative briefs and partner with creative teams.
• Collaborate with Content, Customer, Partnerships and Commercial teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data and provide insight‑driven recommendations.
• Analyse audience data and market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Support the management of brand resources and marketing collateral.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication.
• Contribute to a high‑performing, energetic team culture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand or advertising roles.
• Strong understanding of the full marketing mix.
• Creative thinker with ability to develop compelling campaigns.
• Confident working with data, insights and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong multi‑tasking ability.
• Collaborative, adaptable and solutions‑focused.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, media or related field preferred.
