About the role
First Table is looking for a Growth Engineer to drive rapid experimentation and conversion optimisation across our web and mobile e‑commerce platforms. You will work within the Conversion & Growth team to design, build, and iterate on customer‑facing experiences that improve onboarding, booking funnels, and overall user engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain A/B tests, landing pages, onboarding flows, and feature experiments for both Next.js web and React Native/Expo mobile applications.
- Prototype and validate new customer experiences quickly, focusing on learning speed and iterative improvement.
- Analyse experiment data, customer behaviour, and performance metrics to refine and optimise conversion funnels.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams while adhering to shared engineering standards and tooling.
- Implement and maintain experimentation and feature‑flagging tools, including GrowthBook or similar platforms.
Required profile
- Strong autonomy and pragmatism in fast‑moving environments.
- Ability to balance rapid delivery with maintainable, clean code.
- Comfort working across full‑stack front‑end technologies and shared codebases.
