About the role

Join AECOM’s high‑performing Communications and Engagement team as a Graduate Consultant on a major regional infrastructure project. You will work alongside senior practitioners, gaining exposure to all aspects of communication strategy, stakeholder outreach, and visual storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communication plans for large‑scale environmental and infrastructure initiatives.
• Create written content, visual assets, and digital materials to convey project messages.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, and community outreach.
• Conduct research and gather data to inform communication strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Postgraduate) in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
