Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, culturally safe primary care to a diverse community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and telemedicine providers.
• Deliver services across general practice, minor surgery, travel medicine, women’s health, diabetes management, occupational health and more.
• Play an active role in improving health equity and outcomes for whānau.
• Maintain continuity of care and build long‑term patient relationships.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Medical Council of NZ and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (FRNCGP preferred or in progress).
• Strong interest in rural and community‑based medicine.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient‑centred approach.
• Commitment to continuity of care.
