About the role

Alignerr is seeking highly qualified researchers with a Master’s or PhD to work on cutting‑edge AI training problems. This fully remote, hourly contract lets you contribute to AI systems that impact millions while managing your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design, solve, and review multidisciplinary problems that test AI reasoning capabilities.
• Craft complex problem statements that push AI models to their limits.
• Evaluate AI‑generated solutions for academic rigor, logical soundness, and technical accuracy.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance.
• Ensure depth, clarity, and intellectual integrity in all deliverables.

Required profile

• Holder of a Master’s or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university.
• Proven research track record (publications, complex projects, or advanced technical work).
• Exceptional written communication and reasoning skills.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical, and self‑directed in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Fluent English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand.
