Duty Manager – Front Office

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our front office team at Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort. You will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring every guest feels at home from the moment they arrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the front office team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Act as a role model, sharing expertise and upholding the highest service standards.
• Oversee daily front office tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures, providing smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.
• Proactively resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
• Work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, with shifts between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in a hotel front office environment.
• Extensive background in hospitality, preferably in a resort setting.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a consistently positive demeanor.
• Strong time‑management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Impeccable professional presentation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to varying schedules.
