Dispatch Supervisor – Consumer Dispatch

About the role

The Comfort Group is seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to lead the consumer dispatch area at its new North Waikato manufacturing facility. This hands‑on leadership position works closely with the Industrial Dispatch Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time product deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations, transport scheduling and delivery requirements.
• Supervise dispatch and warehouse team activities, including truck loading and delivery optimisation.
• Manage pick lists, dispatch documentation, proof of delivery (POD) records and inventory accuracy.
• Support warehouse functions such as picking, loading, unloading and stock control.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding customer requirements and stock availability.
• Lead, motivate and develop team members to achieve operational goals.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across the site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dispatch, transport coordination or warehouse supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
