Customer Service Consultant – Contact Centre (Auckland)

About the role

As a Customer Service Consultant in ANZ's New Zealand Contact Centre, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with retail, card, and digital banking solutions. This phone‑based role offers a fast‑paced environment where you will resolve enquiries quickly, clearly, and with care, while building a foundation for multi‑channel support and specialised services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of routine customer enquiries via phone.
• Provide accurate information and guidance on retail, card, and digital banking products.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions in line with compliance standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge across multiple channels.

Required profile

• NZ resident, NZ citizen or Australian citizen.
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic listening approach.
• Ability to work flexible start times between 09:00 am and 12:00 pm and finish between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
• Willingness to commit to onsite learning and training.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, word processing).
