About the role

Join Motion Conveyance Solutions as a hands‑on Mechanical Site Services Technician. You will work across a variety of New Zealand industries, from food manufacturing to construction, delivering conveyor belt production, installation and service.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and fabricate conveyor belts and related rubber components.
• Install conveyor belts for lightweight and heavyweight applications.
• Join belts using hot vulcanising, cold bonding and fastener methods.
• Fabricate and install rubber linings.
• Repair and service conveyor systems on‑site.
• Perform quality control on manufactured products.
• Measure, cut and prepare belts and hoses accurately.
• Handle inbound goods, dispatch, and operate specialised equipment such as Vulcanising Press, High Frequency Welding and Teflon Belt machines.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude and clear verbal communication.
• Reliable team player willing to travel and work after‑hours or on call.
• Valid driver’s licence and physically fit for the role.
• Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing practices.
