Content Coordinator – Digital Content Specialist

About the role

Join Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forest Service as a Content Coordinator supporting the delivery of clear, accessible digital content. You will improve how users find and understand forestry information by turning print and PDF material into engaging web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Convert print and PDF content into web‑friendly formats.
• Publish and maintain website content using the content management system.
• Test and validate content for usability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain content approvals.
• Support the content and service design team in daily activities.

Required profile

• Early‑career content or communications professional.
• Detail‑oriented, curious and eager to learn.
• Experience creating or editing content through study or work.
• Strong written communication and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office tools.
• Interest in content design, digital services or user experience.
• Desirable: experience writing for the web or using a CMS, understanding of accessibility or plain‑language principles, basic graphic‑design skills.
