AI Engineer / Full Stack Developer – Contract

About the role

GrowLab is seeking an AI Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join its consultancy team working on infrastructure‑sector projects across ANZ. The position starts as a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full‑time, offering the chance to shape the role to match your strengths.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end web applications for infrastructure asset management.
• Apply AI/ML algorithms, build data pipelines, and deploy intelligent agents to automate business processes.
• Collaborate with clients to translate complex problems into practical technical solutions.
• Contribute to project delivery, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong critical thinking and the ability to challenge assumptions.
• Resourceful problem‑solver who can start projects independently.
• Positive attitude, comfortable working in ambiguous environments and thriving on challenges.
• Preferably 0‑3 years of relevant experience, though merit will be assessed.

Required skills

• Full stack development (building web applications from front‑end to back‑end).
• AI/ML development, including algorithm implementation and pipeline creation.
• Experience deploying AI agents or similar automation tools.
