Account Manager – Trade Team (Papamoa)

About the role

Join the newly opening Mitre 10 MEGA store in Papamoa as an Account Manager on the Trade team. You will build and manage a portfolio of trade customers, delivering solutions that keep them coming back and supporting the growth of our trade offering.

Key responsibilities

• Grow sales across a portfolio of trade accounts through proactive relationship management.
• Prepare quotes, provide pricing support and recommend product solutions for customer projects.
• Manage account queries, statements, credits, special orders and delivery requirements accurately.
• Monitor account performance and take action to achieve sales and margin targets.
• Collaborate with the wider Trade team and key leaders to ensure product availability and excellent service.
• Conduct safe site visits and adhere to all Health & Safety requirements in store and on customer sites.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and grow account performance.
• Strong sales focus with commercial acumen and confidence working to revenue and margin goals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer‑first approach.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and relevant NZ consumer and trade legislation.
