About the role
Service Foods, a leading New Zealand foodservice company, is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow the East Auckland territory. You will combine relationship management with proactive new‑business development across a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bakeries and takeaway outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Own and expand a customer portfolio covering Howick to Pukekohe.
- Maintain existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Implement structured call cycles with weekly and fortnightly engagement.
- Collaborate with internal support teams, including telesales, to maximise territory coverage.
- Navigate a competitive, price‑sensitive market using value‑based selling.
- Manage a complex product range and identify revenue growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven success in sales, account management or business development.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to earn customer trust quickly.
- Disciplined approach to territory management and call planning.
- Confidence in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
