Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations, including inbound and outbound metal handling.
• Manage a team of operational staff, ensuring safety, productivity and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Coordinate scheduling, equipment maintenance, and logistics to meet processing targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting for metal streams.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workflow and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operational or yard teams in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ability to quickly learn the specifics of metal recycling processes.
