Winemaker – End‑to‑End Production Lead

About the role

Vinarchy is seeking a skilled Winemaker to own the full winemaking process, from vineyard to glass. You will work closely with viticulture teams, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the brand portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete production lifecycle – fermentation, additions, blending, analysis, storage and final sign‑off.
• Maintain accurate records in the Wine Management System and ensure all legal and brand specifications are met.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for a nominated brand, articulating style, story and technical details.
• Collaborate with viticulture, conduct vineyard visits, and contribute to new wine development, trials and blend decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Tier meetings, wine education, and support annual audits (WSMP, ISO, BioGro).
• Deliver wines on time, in full and to specification while managing compliance obligations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on winemaker with strong technical capability and a passion for crafting wines with character.
• Confident working both in the vineyard and the winery.
• Clear communicator with a collaborative, safety‑focused mindset.
• Can‑do attitude, practical problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
