About the role
The Well Child Tamariki Ora Nurse joins an innovative kaupapa Māori health service focused on improving outcomes for whānau. This role goes beyond traditional nursing, offering the chance to shape a growing community, maternal and child health programme.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the Well Child Tamariki Ora service.
- Build strong, culturally‑responsive relationships with whānau.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Participate in service evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Commitment to Māori health principles and community‑focused care.
- Interest in working with children and families in a community setting.
- Willingness to engage in postgraduate study related to Well Child Tamariki Ora.
