Transcription Specialist – Australian English (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a native Australian English speaker to join our team as a Transcription Specialist. In this remote contract role you will help improve the quality of machine‑generated transcriptions and AI language data by reviewing, correcting, and re‑recording content.

Key responsibilities

• Review and correct machine‑generated English transcriptions for accuracy and linguistic standards.
• Record yourself reading transcribed passages using a clear, natural Australian English accent.
• Evaluate AI language data and suggest enhancements that reflect real‑world Australian usage.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to provide feedback on transcription and audio guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when spotting errors and inconsistencies in text and audio.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in Australian English, both written and spoken.
• Strong command of Australian English phonetics, diction, and pronunciation.
• Experience in transcript correction and ability to amend inaccuracies quickly.
• Clear vocal delivery and confidence when recording audio.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, distraction‑free environment.
